Andreas is the kindest face in the entire squad. Always smiling, always calm, always respectful – the type of person who makes the whole team feel a bit more relaxed the moment he walks onto the pitch. But don’t let the friendly attitude fool you: when the whistle blows, he turns into an unbelievable goalkeeper.
He’s the saviour of the team more times than anyone can count. Match after match, he pulls off crucial saves that keep Xazoviola alive and has directly contributed to a lot of our wins thanks to his performances. One–on–ones, long shots, chaos in the box – Andreas is usually the one cleaning it up.
His trademark moment comes right before every game: standing in his goal, he shouts “Pame kyrioi!” (“Let’s go, gentlemen!”) and that’s the signal that the match has truly started for us. That phrase, that voice, and that smile from the back are part of the team’s identity now – and a big reason why he really is the rock of the team.
